Dodie's Celebration Cancelled

The celebration of Dodie Gann's life, as noted in the story below, has been apparently cancelled by Dodie herself.  Those planning the event have learned of Dodie's desire for no such memorial.  In keeping with her life well lived, our good friend continues to chart her own destiny.

Dodie Gann Goes West

Word reached us today that we have lost our beloved Dodie.  The inspiration to all of us, she not only hosted our summer BBQ in her hangar for many years, but she represented a model of what the rest of us can only hope to emulate.

There will be much written about Dodie in the coming weeks.  As a private and generous person, she granted glimpses of her life to many of us in small portions.  All that's written will be a fraction of her life.  Those of us who knew her will spend a lifetime spinning the yarns of her adventures, and perhaps embellishing a bit.

She will surely be missed.  Below are some of my favorite Dodie pictures.
